OUR STORY

KUH started as a studio in the winter of 2017 in Darake’s landscapes in the north of Tehran, our design architecture studio embarked on a journey fueled by a passion for innovation and a commitment to timeless aesthetics. Nestled amidst the rugged beauty of a garden, our studio drew inspiration from the juxtaposition of traditional Iranian architecture and modern design principles. With each project, we sought to weave together elements of cultural heritage with contemporary sensibilities, crafting spaces that resonate with the idea of space. As the seasons changed, evolving with each new challenge to push the boundaries of creativity and craftsmanship.

KUH registered as a consulting firm and restructured in 2023, KUH ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN OFFICE embarked on a transformative journey. Building upon our foundation of passion and innovation, this restructuring infused our studio with renewed energy and purpose. With a sharpened focus on collaboration and excellence, we embraced the opportunity to refine our approach and elevate our craft. Drawing from the rich tapestry of Iranian heritage while embracing the cutting-edge techniques of modern design, our studio emerged stronger and more agile than before. With our restructuring came a shift in location, as we relocated a different Neighborhood in Tehran. Ekbatan

Nestled within the iconic modernist landscape of Tehran’s Ekbatan District, a visionary architecture office has embarked on a bold new chapter, relocating its creative hub to this storied neighborhood. Known for its sprawling residential complexes and Brutalist-inspired design, Ekbatan’s unique blend of urban density and communal green spaces offers both inspiration and a symbolic fresh start. The office, reinvigorated by its new surroundings, aims to bridge the district’s architectural heritage with cutting-edge, sustainable innovation, crafting spaces that resonate with Tehran’s evolving urban identity. By embracing Ekbatan’s dynamic energy and layered history, the studio seeks to redefine collaboration, community engagement, and design experimentation, positioning itself as a catalyst for reimagining urban living in a city where past and future converge.

Amidst the bustling streets and dynamic energy of the city , our studio found a new home — a hub of creativity and inspiration where ideas flourishes and boundaries are dissolved. As we continue to chart new horizons and push the boundaries of architectural expression, our commitment to creating spaces that inspire and endure remains unwavering.
